  • Event date
  • Event location
  • Event time (include start time and end time)
  • Approximate guest count
  • Event contact name, phone number, e-mail

After the reservation request has been processed, an event summary with a unique event ID number will be e-mailed to the event contact. The summary must be approved by email or fax for the reservation to be confirmed.

Access to Event Space
Prospect House typically requests access to the space about two hours prior for event set up. As we detail the event, we will let clients know if we require more time based on their specific needs.

When booking space with the specific venue, please arrange a time window for rental delivery as well as a space we are able to use as a "kitchen". The "kitchen" will be used for our food execution (not cooking) as well as our breakdown or pantry area.

After the reservation request has been processed, an event summary with a unique event ID number will be emailed to the event contact. The summary must be approved by email for the reservation to be confirmed.

Rentals
Clients are responsible for coordinating with Building Services to secure buffet tables, guest tables, room setup diagrams and trash and recycling receptacles.

Prospect House will help coordinate additional rental items, including specialty linen, chairs, China, glassware, flatware. If rentals are not required, Prospect House will provide applicable sustainable disposable products for the anticipated guest count.

All other event support such as Facilities (equipment rental, set up and clean up) AV Services or Public Safety should be arranged directly with the departments that provide the support services for events. Please let us know if there are any specific guidelines that we need to be aware of for the location.

Alcoholic Beverage Service
The Prospect House liquor license does not allow the sale of alcohol at any venue outside of Prospect House. Prospect House is also unable to store or transport any alcohol for events across campus.

All alcohol and bartending services should be arranged by an approved University vendor and delivered directly to the event location. At the conclusion of the event, please arrange to secure the removal of all alcohol from the location.
